Personal Record Keeping Quick View

Created to simplify the process of identifying and locating your vital information, Record Tree is remarkably easy-to-use.  Here’s a Quick View of some key features:

Welcome Screen

1) When entering the application, you will immediately have the opportunity to password protect your data. You will be asked to set up both an administrator account and a guest account. This allows you--and only you--to enter and modify all data stored in Record Tree. And with the separate guest account, you can control access to this information.


Creating Profiles

2) You will then be directed to set up your personal profile. After completing this step, you may configure up to five additional profiles, or you may create them at a later time.

Entering Information

3) You will be prompted to start entering your personal records information. With thirteen pre-defined categories and 160 items, Record Tree has already completed the comprehensive task of identifying those items you will need to include. These category and item lists contain templates designed to fully describe your records. We have thought through the details--so that you can devote your time to completing your Record Tree items quickly and efficiently.

Because we have designed Record Tree™ with your personal needs in mind, the program is also flexible. You are able to move important items to the "My Favorites" category and remove those categories that do not pertain to you. If, at a later time, you wish to reinstate certain categories, this is easily accomplished with a few basic key strokes.

Library of Locations and Websites

To avoid duplicating your efforts while entering your data, Record Tree has created two libraries--one for storing locations and the other for storing websites.

The Locations library stores information such as:

  • business names
  • account numbers
  • contact information
  • and more...
The Websites library stores information such as:
  • URLs
  • usernames
  • passwords
  • and more...

Finally, when you are ready to print out the information you have entered, you can choose the format that best suits your needs.  Numerous report choices are available such as:

  • A complete print out of all of your Record Tree information
  • Reports organized by profile, category, item, and location
  • A Medical Alert Summary that identifies key emergency information
    • This document, referred to as a "Refrigerator Alert", can be printed and located in a highly visible place such as your refrigerator door, near your telephone, etc.
  • A wallet sized version of the "Refrigerator Alert "
